Cummunity Support Program

In collaboration with the Bekaa Water Establishment and Al Buhaira Municipal Union, #USAID’s CSP launched its implementation activities to rehabilitate the #wastewater treatment plant in Aitanit. This project aims to benefit 27,000 residents by mitigating pollution resulting from the discharge of untreated domestic and industrial wastewater in four #Bekaa villages: #Aitanit, Baaloul, El Qaraoun, and Machghara. Additionally, CSP will implement a new sludge management unit to facilitate sludge dewatering in the area and prevent the overflow contaminating the #LitaniRiver
